Hey Reader,
Leading through the Dumpster fire
Yeeeaaaahhh... no intro feels appropriate. Let me just say, you and/or your teams simply will have cognitive emotional load and stress from the world around you/them. I'm going to share some prior email issues with my comments on leading through hard stuff, and a tweaked Monday Hour 1.
TLDR: Be a Human. Acknowledge things are hard. Create space for feelings. Treat your humans like humans. This is cannot be work as normal with higher expectations than last week in perpetuity.

- What’s the most impactful thing your team must deliver this week? Can everything else ease off?
- What is your body/soul craving? Do you have space on your calendar for this?
- Where can you create space for others to acknowledge humanity at work, hard things or just venting?
- Who may need more support? How can you support within your own capacity?

Breathe in, breathe out. Do the damn thing. Do less.
